Job opening: Internship in Law (Personal Injury & Labor Law)

Would you like to discover what practicing law is like in practice during your studies?

At Joosten Advocaten, as a law student, you will have the opportunity to participate fully in our personal injury and employment law practice. You will work alongside lawyers, legal assistants, and other interns, and learn how legal issues are translated into solutions that make a real difference for clients.

Our office has approximately 35 employees, including lawyers, legal assistants, and an average of six interns at any given time.
The atmosphere is professional but informal: you will receive guidance where necessary and trust where possible.
Many students continue to work with us after their internship because they not only gain experience but also truly grow in their role.

What are you going to do?

During your internship, you will work on ongoing cases in personal injury and labor law.
You will support our lawyers and legal assistants in handling cases and communicating with clients.
Your work will be varied and educational, including:

Attending client meetings and preparing meeting reports
Conducting conversations independently (under supervision)
Telephone consultations with opposing parties and insurers
Drafting letters, draft documents, and memos
Maintaining files and court documents
Preparing for and attending hearings

You will learn how legal knowledge is applied in practice and gain insight into the process from intake to completion of a case.
This internship provides a solid foundation for a career in legal services or the legal profession.

You are enrolled in the HBO Law program.
You have good communication and writing skills.
You are eager to learn, enthusiastic, and accurate.
You can work independently and take responsibility.
You are interested in personal injury, liability law, or labor law.
