Job opening: Polish-speaking Working Student Personal Injury

Are you fluent in Polish and Dutch and would you like to gain practical experience in personal injury law?

At Joosten Advocaten, you will work on cases in which victims need legal assistance after an accident.
You will support our lawyers and legal assistants with cases involving Polish clients and play an important role in communication and case handling.

Our office has approximately 35 employees and is located in Amsterdam Zuid.
The atmosphere is professional yet informal: we work hard on complex cases, but also enjoy spending time with colleagues, from drinks to sailing on the office boat.

What you will do

As a working student in Personal Injury, you will support our lawyers in ongoing personal injury cases.
You will ensure smooth communication with Polish clients and help collect and process information that is essential to their cases.

Your work will be varied and will include:

Telephone contact with clients in Polish and Dutch
Translating and drafting letters, emails, and statements
Collecting medical and administrative documents
Assistance in preparing damage reports
Managing, printing, scanning, and archiving files
Legal and administrative support to attorneys and legal staff

We ask

We are looking for an enthusiastic student with a sense of responsibility and an interest in personal injury law.
You have a professional appearance, work accurately, and are good at dealing with people who are in difficult situations.

In addition:

You are available at least 2 days per week (12–16 hours).
You are enrolled in a university law program or a comparable legal program.
You have an excellent command of the Polish and Dutch languages, both spoken and written.
You are empathetic, discreet, and reliable.
